Changemakers is a collaborative art project created with photographer Kevin Calixte that celebrates Black women in Montreal working toward social change. The project highlights women from diverse Black communities across the city, recognizing their contributions to community building, advocacy, and social justice. By bringing together women from different cultural, linguistic, and spiritual backgrounds, Changemakers celebrates the diversity of Black communities in Montreal and how women drive social change, support collective well-being, and challenge inequity. The project was first exhibited at the 2016 World Social Forum in Montreal.
